If you’re feeling exhausted and disillusioned in your career, and starting to give up hope of ever ‘making it’ as a Harpist … I’m here to tell you — DON’T.
Because there is another way.
In the beginning of my career, I worked nonstop — from orchestra and recital performances to teaching, recordings, and gigs — yet it still wasn’t enough to comfortably afford a home, start a family, or pursue projects I loved. Despite my dedication, I felt unfulfilled and began to question if my passion for music could ever provide a sustainable life. Then, it struck me: art is in high demand around the world, appreciated for the joy, comfort, and value it brings. Realizing that musicians shouldn’t be limited to struggling financially, I knew I had to explore a different approach to use my skills and passion in ways that were truly rewarding.
I took a leap, letting go of draining gigs and jobs and instead focused on finding ways to bring value to the work I loved. I began marketing my art creatively, moving beyond traditional channels, and was amazed when a CD of lullabies I recorded sold over 10,000 copies, outside of traditional music outlets; a breakthrough that confirmed I was on the right track. Frequent moves across countries forced me to continually reinvent myself, further strengthening my ability to create innovative approaches to music and income. Over time, I honed a new strategy that turned my diverse experience into a flexible, sustainable career, finally achieving the financial stability and freedom I longed for.
Now, I help other harpists discover the same possibilities through New Harp Horizons. Using my refined five-step Freedom Formula and personalized coaching, I guide harpists to harness their unique talents and skills to surpass traditional expectations. Together, we build fulfilling, sustainable careers that fully leverage each artist's potential, time, and energy, paving the way for a truly prosperous artistic journey.
